Types of Camera Shots

A camera shot is the amount of space that is seen in one shot or frame. Camera shots are used to demonstrate different aspects or meanings of a model's mood, character and theme. As a result, camera shots are very important in shaping meaning of your work. Reviewing the examples should make the different camera shots clearer.

Please use the below pdf to build your cheat sheet similar to the example on the left. Use your phones to take photos that resemble that specific shot (Do this for all 6 found in the PDF: Long Shot, Close-up, etc.) and place those in the examples column. Build the table on the left in Word or Google Docs and submit to the website.

Finally, you may have to make adjustments to your page layout in Word - such as the size of your chart or size of your image - Try to keep it consistent!
