ARDUINO UNO

ARDUINO UNO Using TinkerCAD

In this certification, students will learn the basics of the ARDUINO UNO as well as some basics of electronics and simple wiring of breadboards, LED lights, wiring resistors, servo motors, etc.

Please watch each tutorial and complete the associated activity.
You will be responsible for completing the projects in the tutorials and then submitting the collaboration link to your teacher for certification completion.

Once you have completed all four of the tutorials - you then must complete another project of your choosing by either creating your own ARDUINO UNO activity, or by finding one on YouTube and then creating that project and ensuring that it works as intended.

In order to achieve certification, you must submit 5 total links:
  • All 4 tutorials below completed and working.
  • 1 more tutorial that you chose to complete (submit both the TinkerCAD link as well as the video/website you accessed the tutorial from).

How to access TinkerCAD

  • Go to www.google.ca and search "Tinkercad circuits" -> Click the first link that appears. Alternatively, you can go to https://www.tinkercad.com/learn/circuits
  • Once you arrive at the home page, click the "JOIN NOW" button at the top right of the screen.
  • Choose "Create a personal account"
  • Choose "Sign up with email" -> Please use your ....my.ctk.ca email here to sign up for TinkerCAD.
  • Once you have signed in, click "Circuits" on the far left of your screen and choose "Create New Circuit" -> You are now ready to begin building circuits in TinkerCAD.

How to submit your work

Once you have competed a circuit project in TinkerCAD, name it by looking in the top left (usually has a really weird name already), clicking and renaming the project. (You can also click the colourful TINKERCAD button in the top left to bring you back to the dashboard to create new circuits for each tutorial).

To share your design for certification marks -> Look to the top right of your screen and click the button that says "Send To". The last option in the new dialog window that appears is "Share over IM or email" click "Invite People". Copy the link that appears and send it to your teacher by filling out the SUBMISSIONS form at the top of this website.
