Colour Theory

Color theory has a lot of definitions, concepts and design applications. However, there are three basic categories of colour theory that are logical and useful : The colour wheel, colour harmony, and the context of how colours are used.
Colour theories create a logical structure for colour.
For example, if we have an assortment of fruits and vegetables, we can organize them by colour and place them on a circle that shows the colours in relation to each other.
Ultimately, colour theory is a body of practical guidance to colour mixing and the visual effects of a specific colour combination (visually, emotionally, mentally, etc).

Let's start by shooting something! The goal of this activity is to get you to look at your environment in a new way and focus on COLOUR and EMOTION.
Each student is in charge of getting their own 8 shots that somehow correspond to the colour and emotion you are assigned. You will given two colours and two emotions. (2 photos for each colour for a total of 4 - and 2 photos for each emotion for a total of 4 - grand total of 8) Here is a quick example:
