What does it do?
The Hatch tool has a set of predefined adjustable lines and shapes that can be applied to closed space to achieve a desired appearance.

Using the Hatch Tool
The Hatch palette will open after clicking the Hatch button. Note the different options:

Applying Hatch to the below partial elevation:

1. Select desired hatch style
2. Select Angle and Scale 3. Pick Points/Boundaries |

Your Hatch will be applied in real time. If you need to make adjustments to your hatch, simply click the hatch to enter the Hatch palette.

Apply as many hatches as you'd like to get the final and desired look of your finished drawing.
