Photography Techniques
Whether you're an experienced photographer or have just picked up your first camera, the basics are always good to review. I've gathered together the photography basics for you all in one place. Here you will find information on some basic elements that all photographers should know. Below you'll find a presentation in which you will create a cheat sheet in Microsoft Word from the content in the presentation. You will need headings and content for:
1. Fill your frame
2. Look for clean backgrounds
3. Find good light
4. KISS
5. Use the Rule of Thirds
6. Find frames
7. Achieve Balance
8. Use lines & shapes
9. Avoid mergers
10. Find repeating patterns and colours
Include at least 2 bullet points (explain the technique and why it's used) for each topic as well as a picture example for each. Typical page setup will be a table of 3 wide by 10 high (see below). Once complete; save and keep for reference when out shooting.
