Class Preparation
As everyone is aware - We will be touring Toronto on November 12th to act as journalists for the morning. This is a great practice for your Yearbook class as much of the work is investigative as well as journalistic in style. The tour guides have asked the teachers of the tour to prepare our students accordingly.
REQUIRED IN-CLASS PREPARATION:

- Students will be grouped into 3-4.
- Imagine you are journalists — you can choose one of the following outlets to report for:
- Toronto Star
- msn.ca
- 680 News radio
- CTV National News
- Maclean's Magazine.
- Toronto Star
- Review the topic—Immigration to Toronto—by reading these two newspaper stories: Toronto Diversity and Syrian Refugee Stories.
- Based on the topic and stories, you must form 3 key questions that you can ask passers-by.
- Each group should pack a notepad and pen.
